1. Identify a niche that is tightly focused, one that corresponds with your expertise and passions. Focusing on a niche that you are not passionate about, even if it promises to be profitable, will drag you down in the long run.

2. Choose your customers carefully...if the client is not right for you, you will do them, as well as yourself a disservice if you accept them as a client. As a result, your Qi will suffer.

3. Learn to access your business intuition...think with your heart as well as your head. Beginning a meditation practice, getting out in nature, listening to music...all of these can help.

4. Learn from others...there are plenty of quality free and paid resources to get your Marketing Qi unblocked. Take advantage of what's out there.

5. Find a group of like minded business professionals to act as a support group, either in person or online. The energy and support of the group can be lifesaving when times are rough.

6. Be persistent. Don't give up. Keep learning and then apply what you learn. Track your results and then correct your course.
